I have a lot to say, but I never seem to get around to it.
Life comes at you fast and hard. Some things are good, circumstances that bring joy, things that gives you pleasure or make you happy.
Other things come that are not so good or unexpected, hard things, difficult things, stuff you can’t control.
How do you deal with them?
There is lots of wisdom out there about handling struggles or being prepared. And it is always a good idea to be prepared. What if you didn’t see it coming? What if it’s so big, you never knew how to handle it? What if you don’t even know how to get help?
These are the tough ones. Yet these are also the ones that make us grow. We reach down deep and pull from places we didn’t know we had. We rise to the challenge.
But sometimes that’s not enough. Sometimes we lose no matter what. Sometimes we have to grieve no matter what.
Those, or if you are going through or have gone through one or more of such a time, THESE, are the ones where our God shows up and carries us through. We don’t know the outcome. There aren’t any good choices. We just lose. But God is there with us, carrying us, comforting us, moment by moment until we can go on our own again, for more than a moment.
God does this because of His love for us, His boundless eternal immeasurable flawless complete selfless love for us.
And we go on, and hopefully we don’t let go of His hand!
